Speculative Robotics Lab Open Hours

Volunteers are needed to engage with the speculative robotics lab every Friday from February 21 - March 28 between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Sessions are offered every 30 minutes. Care takes many forms, and its future is full of possibilities. The speculative robotics lab is dedicated to imagining and prototyping new ways care might unfold—particularly in hospital settings—through speculative design and futuring. NIC Partners are invited to playtest and co-create future care scenarios where robotics and design intersect with human experience.

NUtech Ventures Engineering Pitch Competiion

Graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln are invited to participate in the 2025 Engineering Pitch Competition. The competition is hosted by the College of Engineering and NUtech Ventures. The Pitch Competition will take place on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 from 4:30-7:30pm at the College of Engineering's Kiewit Hall, Room A211 on the Lincoln City Campus. Guidelines: Teams can have 1-5 participants, with at least one participant from the College of Engineering.

These organisms have an interesting duality in human health as commensals that provide beneficial short chain fatty acids and train the immune system, and as opportunistic pathogens in extraintestinal infection. A detailed understanding of their unique physiology can lead to the development of therapeutics to manipulate their metabolism in the gut or treat infection.

Nebraska Innovation Campus is a proud partner for the annual “Day Without Shoes” event. Organized by People’s City Mission and Cornhusker Bank, the event aims to collect new or used wearable footwear for people in need. From March 31 – April 11, NIC Partners and the Lincoln community are encouraged to bring new or wearable used shoes to Nebraska Nova’s office (Suite 1100 | Entrance A | north most building) between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays. The footwear will be distributed to Nebraskans in need by People’s City Mission.
