Driver Education is one of the most important courses a student will take because it provides them with the foundation on which to build their knowledge and skills for safe driving for the rest of their lives. As a result, our classes are small (limited to no more than 24 students), and focus on the basics of driving skills, safety, attitudes and behaviors.
The course consists of 20 or more hours of classroom instruction and 5 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction.

Also know as the Part 107 exam, this is an essential starting point for anyone planning to fly drones commercially. Our expert instruction and interactive learning materials will guide you through the exam’s complexities, ensuring you are fully prepared to take to the skies as a certified commercial drone pilot. This class will also feature hands-on experience flying drones.

Graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are invited to participate in the 2026 Engineering Pitch Competition. The competition is hosted by the College of Engineering and NUtech Ventures.
The Pitch Competition will take place on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 from 4:30-7:30pm at the College of Engineering's Kiewit Hall, Room A235 on the Lincoln City Campus.
Guidelines:
Teams can have 1-5 participants, with at least one participant from the UNL College of Engineering.
The purpose of the ServSafe(R) Food Safety Program is to help food service operations protect public health by preventing foodborne illness and promoting safe food-handling practices.
Engage in learning the interdisciplinary nature of food science and technology. Promote inclusivity of all members in the discipline of food science and technology. Trainees receive feedback from the professional community to improve as a scientist and presenter. RSVP and submit abstracts online by March 11, 2026.
