Brooke Goedert is the culture & operations manager at Nebraska Innovation Campus, where she designs place-based events and programs that encourage collaboration between NIC, the university and the broader community. Her work focuses on creating opportunities for individuals with diverse skill sets to connect, exchange ideas and drive innovation. She strives to create a vibrant community that can be enjoyed by NIC Partners, local residents and visitors from around the world. 

Brooke joined the NICDC team in 2017 as the administrator coordinator. In this role, she supported the founding executive director, developed campus policies, facilitated company visits, led campus tours and strengthened partnerships. She also contributed to the creation of marketing materials and regularly presented to community groups about the vision and growth of the research campus. 

Brooke began her career at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2015 as a venue management & event specialist for the Nebraska Alumni Association. She played an integral part in managing events at the NIC Conference Center, the first building to open on campus. A proud Nebraska native, she grew up in Hastings and earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Restaurant & Tourism Management from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2014.
