NET’s “Friday LIVE” arts and entertainment radio show will broadcast live for the first time from The Mill Coffee & Bistro on Nebraska Innovation Campus at 9 a.m., Friday, Feb. 9.
Christine Widman of Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra will be playing a violin created at the Nebraska Innovation Studio. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln makerspace is the creative and collaborative hub at NIC. In addition, musician and musical instrument inventor Jay Kreimer will perform.
A preview of the Humanities on the Edge speaker series with documentary filmmaker Joao Selles and news about a workshop for playwrights with the Angels Theatre Company will also be featured.
The public is invited to this free event with complimentary refreshments served at 8:30 a.m. at The Mill on Innovation Campus, 2021 Transformation Drive, Lincoln.
For those who can’t attend the event, they can watch “Friday LIVE” via the NET Radio Facebook Live feed or listen at 9 a.m. on 91.1 FM.
