Lincoln Hour of AI and Tech Fair

to Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center

Building on nine years of success with the Hour of Code, the Hour of AI is a bold, new initiative designed to help students take their first steps toward understanding and creating with artificial intelligence. Through fun, hands-on activities, K-12 students will explore how AI can be used to imagine, build, and solve real-world problems. They'll discover that AI is not magic, but a tool they can understand, use, and shape. Bring a Device: A laptop, tablet, or smartphone is recommended for participating in AI activities. A limited number of laptops will be available for use. Explore the Tech Fair: A unique feature of Lincoln's event is the Tech Fair, featuring more than 20 technology-focused booths with interactive exhibits, educational programs, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities. From robots and virtual reality to exciting emerging technologies, there's something to spark curiosity at every turn. Free and Open to the Public: This event is free and open to the public. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Free Event Parking: Complimentary parking is available in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. On-street parking is metered and can be paid for by phone or at a pay station. About CodeAI: This event is held in connection with CodeAI, an education innovation nonprofit dedicated to the vision that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn about artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science (CS) as part of their core K-12 education.
