The mission of the Food Processing Center is to advance the food industry by aiding in technical and business development starting from an idea and continuing through ongoing market support. The Food Processing Center helps businesses understand their target market, define product concept, substitute ingredients, resolve quality issues and ensure long shelf life. Formulating a new food product can be a difficult task as the appearance, aroma, flavor and texture is critically important.
