"Rendezvous …" features a variety of works reflecting encounters with the Works of the Creator, Schroeder’s family’s heritage in Northern Wyoming rooted in the early 1900s, the timeless spirit of a rural Nebraska County Fair and the magic of the holidays. Student-led hydroponics open house

The public is invited to explore the University of Nebraska–Lincoln student hydroponic prototype and demonstration systems from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 in the Plant Science Teaching Greenhouse, 3855 Fair Street. See the diversity of approaches to growing plants, including fresh greens, fruits and ornamental plants. Students will demonstrate systems including deep water, thin film, Bato bucket, raft, ebb and flow, tower, and gutter culture. The public is encouraged to listen and discuss as students share their innovative approaches and provide background on system designs.
