Entrepreneurship task force hosting town halls

The Nebraska Legislature’s Venture Development and Entrepreneurship Task Force plans to hold five town hall meetings across the state this summer, including in Lincoln.

The task force, made up of state sens. Dan Watermeier of Syracuse, Matt Williams of Gothenburg, Paul Schumacher of Columbus, Al Davis of Hyannis, John Stinner of Gering, and Mark Kolterman of Seward, is charged to examine and review the role entrepreneurship and innovation play in Nebraska’s economy.

The Lincoln town hall meeting will be Aug. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Nebraska Innovation campus. The other town halls are July 27 in Columbus, July 28 in Kearney, Aug. 4 in Omaha and Aug. 9 in Alliance.
