Animation Workshop with Madison Creech

Monday, July 23, 2018 - 2:00pm to 8:00pm

In this two-day workshop you will transform illustrations and digital collage into 2-D animations. We will examine layering techniques and a two-frame “eating” sequence to achieve the illusion of a character opening and closing its mouth. By the end of this workshop you will have completed an animation that includes the following: An illustrated main character that eats, illustrations of a few objects to be consumed, and a digitally composited background. Emphasis will be placed on developing an original animation that can be submitted to the Cube Art Project competition.

The yoga class being offered is based on physical postures (asanas), deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body.
