Lincoln Hour of Code
Saturday, December 8, 2018 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center
Join us for Hour of Code at Nebraska Innovation Campus from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8. The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code," to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts.
Stop by our Tech Fair, visit interactive booths and connect with mentors from local technology companies to help you get started in programming!
For coding activities, please bring your own computing device (laptop, tablet or smart phone). A limited number of computing devices will be available for use.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested. Please visit https://lincolnhourofcode2018.eventbrite.com to register. All students need to be accompanied by an adult. Please park in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. Street parking is metered (pay by phone or pay station).
