Better Process Control School for Acidified Foods

This one-and-a-half-day school provides the practical application of the principles set forth by these regulations. These FDA regulations also apply to low-acid canned companion animal foods. This school DOES NOT satisfy retort processing requirements. Individuals requiring this certification should attend the Better Process Control School. This school is specifically designed for individuals with little or no food science or food safety background.

National Walk at Lunch Day

Join the fun! Take a walk at lunch with us! On Wednesday, April 24 at 11:45 a.m. put on your walking shoes and meet others in the outdoor plaza for an organized, casual group walk. NW@L Day is an annual event that encourages community members to walk for 30 minutes any time, any place, to prioritize their well-being. This year, if 10,000 Nebraskans take the NW@L Day pledge, BCBSNE will donate $5,000 to Special Olympics Nebraska and $1,000 to one lucky participating school's physical education department! Faculty Club Nights are an informal gathering for faculty that are held at The Mill Coffee and Bistro on Nebraska's Innovation Campus.
